WebSphere Portal Server - edit_defaults

edit_defaults_compatibility mode

Has anyone tried using edit_defaults_compatibility mode in version 6? I have a
JSR168 Faces portlet where I enabled the edit_defaults_compatiblity mode. It works
fine when the portlet is added to a regular page. If put the same portlet on a
page that "uses contentent from a shared page" it throws an exception when you
try to save the shared settings.

javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: java.lang.IllegalStateException: store is not allowed inside a render call

Any ideas on why this is happening? Thanks.
