|
| Have you create a portal search collection in admin interface?
| |
|
| Yes, In search Administration. have you seen the attach file?
| |
|
| Yes i've seen it. But some informations are missing.
What have you already done?
Which portal version do you use?
Which portlet do you try to configure?
It's looks like "Search Center Portlet", in this case, after creating collection have you got register it?

| im using WebSphere Portal v5.1,
first i make a Collection named "PACollection" then i click Add Site then there is a 1 radio button which is WEBSITE and PORTAL SITE
so i choose the portal site, when i choose it, the portal site automatically appear then i put the username and password, after
that i set the scheduler then click the start Collecting..
after that i went to Manage portlet, i make a copy of "search and browse" and i named it Portal Search, then
i configure my new portlet i put new parameter,
1.IndexName is C:\Program Files\WebSphere\AppServer\PACollection
2.SoapUrlExample is http://localhost:9080/WebScannerSOAP/servlet/rpcrouter
then i went to edit myportal and add portlet on my page.
*so far this what i have done*...
is there something wrong in my procedure???
