Portal doesn't start after WAS patch!

Hi,
i have a strange problem:
On a server with Red Hat AS 3.0, i've installed without problems a WSP instance.
After this, i patched WAS at 5.1.1.11 release.
Now, WAS works fine, but Portal doesn't start! It remains in "Starting" mode without writing anything in log files!

Any idea about something that can cause this situation??

Hello,

In the fix list for 5.1.1.12, there is an entry which reads, "Multiple Server startup attempts at the same time cause error," but I don't know that it describes your problem.

This happened to me when I changed the Portal logging settings on a fresh install, but when I changed them back to default, WPS started fine. This was for 5.1.0.4, though...
