Author How to make public access to Portal?

2006-05-05, 1:20 pm

Hello All!

Is it possible to disable standard login procedure?

I need to make some public pages without any authentication. One of my pages will contain login form and users will have access to protected part of the application after login (I know how to customize login procedure).

Thanks in advance.

selected pages/portlets you can give annonymous user access. And need to set public.session = true in NavigatorService.properties in the folder

PortalServer\shared\app\config\services

Thanks & Regards,
Bala

Hello, Bala.

Thank you very much!
I just want to add that it is necesary to modify access to pages and portlets. In other case I am not able to see a content of portlets.
