Is there a limit that which skins a custom theme may support? I have installed a custom theme, but it is not letting me to change the skin to NoSkin.

When you install new theme you set the default skin and select what other skins to be added to your theme (Skins for this theme), only skins you choose to add to your theme are supported for portlets deployed on pages under this custom theme.
