| The URL mappings, by default, are to the wps/myportal location. As soon as you login the session information is refreshed and the page you were trying to get to is lost to the portal and you are sent to the opening page.
If the page requires a login the url mapping will only work if the user is already logged in. If the page being mapped is available to anonymous users, place the page at the same level as "My Portal" (via the Manage Pages in the Admin section) and create a URL mapping to that page.
