Author errors on enable-security-lda

Hi dear all
i've got an error when i run wpsconfig enable-security-lda
the message is
[wsadmin] EJPCA3004E: error??DeploymentTargetMapping for server1? not exist


any help? thanks in advance

Thanks for JimB's replay.
i also followed the steps in the info centre.
I have ran the wpsconfig validate-ldap already and it build sucessfull!
the error still exits

the full command i have ran is :

WPSconfig.bat enable-security-ldap -DWasPassword=password -DPortalAdminPwd=password -DDbPassword=password -DLTPAPassword=password -DLDAPAdminPwd=password -DLDAPBindPassword=password -DWmmSystemIdPassword=password
