Migration from portal 5.0.2 to portal 6.0 and internationalization

My current application is running on 5.0.2 version of Portlets.
1) I would like to migrate/upgrade my portal to version 6.0. Currently, am using WSAD 5.1 and WAS 5.0. Can any one pls help me with suitable suggestions.

2) This might not be a related one, but am looking for some help to give multi lingual support to my application. If anyone is familier with the procedure, kindly help me pls.

Are there any steps or documentation available on this. Kindly help me.
