Where i have created one portlet which has two kinds of user such as Admin & Users.Where admin will set some configuration details in edit mode. where this values will be available for all the ordinary users in Websphere Portal 5.1 .But in c
ase of websphere 6.0 its not working.So i am trying with edit_default_mode. I kept the necessary information For getting Edit_Default_mode in my portlet.But as per portlet specification this can be set only by portal admin & this will availalbe only for p
ortal admin. So i logged as a portal admin i deploy that portlet.i am not able to see edit_default_mode.I can see only edit mode (i.e., personalize link in websphere 6.0).
Can anybody has anyidea about how we can access edit_default_mode in portlets.
NOTE : I made entry in portlet.xml & i override dodispatch method for implementing
edit_default_mode in my portlet.It is not giving any error. but i am not able to find this
mode in my portlet when i login as a portal admin.
