ES POSIBLE HACER UN SINGLE SIGN ON (INICIO DE SESION UNICO), CON WINDOWS DESKTOP, CONTRA IBM WEBSPHERE PORTAL 6, POR EJEMPLO, LOS USUARIOS SE LOGEAN EN WINDOWS(ACTIVE DERECTORY WINDOWS), Y CUANDO ENTRAN AL PORTAL, ESTE ENTRA DIRECTAMENTE USANDO EL USUARIO
Y EL PASSWORD QUE INGRESARON ANTERIORMENTE EN EL INICIO DE SESION DE WINDOWS
