How to Remove the "Already Signed Up?" portlet from welcome page ?

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before in the forum ( I've searched first but to no avail) , but I've got a question. I would like to customize the welcome page in Websphere Portal 6. There is a default portlet which displays "Already Signed Up?
" and I would like to remove it but I can't find it in the page layout portlet . Later , I figured that the portlet could be under a visibility rule that shows when anonymous user hit the page but also couldn't find any visibility rule under the "show Po
rtlet Rule Mappings" in the page. I could have easily delete the page and create a new one for my welcome page but I would really want to learn why the portlet is hidden from the page layout portlet . Can any one help me ?
