Hi all!

Has anyone seen this error before:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

update-properties:
Fri Feb 16 16:23:24 EST 2007
[wsadmin] WASX7357I: By request, this scripting client is not connected to any
server process. Certain configuration and application operations will be availa
ble in local mode.
[wsadmin] WASX7017E: Exception received while running file "C:\IBM\WebSphere\PortalServer/config/was/wp_ProfileCreatePortalProps.jacl"; exception information:
com.ibm.bsf.BSFException: error while eval'ing Jacl expression:
[wsadmin] couldn't read file "/config/was/GetProperties.jacl"
[wsadmin] (file line 2)
[wsadmin] invoked from within
[wsadmin] "source [subst {[lindex $argv 0]/config/was/GetProperties.jacl}]"

BUILD FAILED
file:../config/actions/was_cfg.xml:2601: Java returned: 105

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I ran this on one of our servers, and it worked. I ran it on another, and I get the above error. The files are identical. I've looked all over the place (google, ibm, message boards, etc) for an indicator as to why it failed, but can't find anything.

All I want to do is make all our side navigation links expand when the page loads! If anyone knows an easy way to do that other than through the admin console, that would be great to know.

I appreciate any and all help!
Thanks,
Jen

I have the same problem. I think its because of the "\" in the directory path. It should have been "/". Not sure how to fix it.

Hi there,

Generally when you get this error-message it's because you haven't put your real PortaladminPwd in your wpconfig.properties file prior to the update.

ahhh, well, there you go. It was because the PortalAdminPwd wasn't in the config file. I thought it was.

Thanks for that!
