Retrieving html table data using Portlet factory

Building a portlet that displays 6 blank rows to the user for data entry. In a 2nd portlet, a table is displayed where only a date field can be entered on each row. Am having difficulty understanding how to bring this data back to the server whether it
is a whole table or a date on a specific row of a table. Using Portlet factory 6.0, IBM RAD 6.0.1, WAS 6.0
