Hi,

Sorry I forgot to metion .. yes the Portal Server starts by running startServer5.bat in the bin directory.

NOTE: I am not sure whether the problem is with the installed Runtime because the Test Environment Server was running properly and suddenly it started behaving in this manner.
One more thing, Even if I try to start the Server without any Portal and Portlets EAR (i.e no projects added to the Server), then also same thing happens
