Bypass Login - Custom event based Login
|
|
|
| How do you setup pre-login and post-login browsing of content on WPS 6.0. Anonymus users should be able to get to the portal and browse content untill they hit a certain section such as "MyProfile" where in they should be redirected to the login screen.
As such i am looking for
1. Dissabling/bypassing initial portal login
2. Redirection to Login Screen based on an Event
Please suggest and advise a solution.
Thanks..

| The solution is quite simple. I remove the login portlet from the welcome page.
Now based on an event (user clicks "MyProfile" link) i redirect the user to a page which has the login portlet. After successful login i redirect to a resource which is protected. The post login url has to be set in the ConfigServices.properties file.

| Hi, the problem is exactly this: when I follow the path you have provided me just now the search does not returns any result and I get the following message "No portlets found" . I am logged as administrator profile and my version is Websphere Portal E
xpress 6.0. Any suggestions? Thx

| Actually I have just found it: in order to find it I had logout and login and once again in the portlet administration, it is the "wps.p.Login" (probably I could not find it because I have an Italian description.
As I have found now the portlet how can I "remove the login portlet from the welcome page"? If I remove here the portlet I could risk to cancel it forever, In the welcome page of the content of the manage pages I cannot find any reference how should then
proceed. Am I missing something? I hope you may help. Thx a lot. G.

| It works! Now if I have interpret well the "spirit" of the initial topic, that is, bypassing the login screen and make it possible to all users to land directly to the internet page when they recall the website, how can I make it possible that user have t
he internet page displayed instead of the empty container I have displayed now? I thought I could move to a higher position in the hierarchy the internet site, but I am not sure if this is the exact proceeding. This would be great help, because then I can
start customizing the page. Please help if you can,

| You could use Document Manager (IBM-PDM2) to author and publish web content.
