Author Using WS-Security for Single Sign-On with remote (WSRP) portlets.

We are interested in using WS-Security for Single Sign-On with remote (WSRP) portlets.
We were able to configure WebSphere Portal to use WS-Security Username Tokens to provide username information to the remote portlets. However we were unable to use the logged in username information in the Username Tokens. The objective is to use this inf
ormation to create the Username Token and provide it to the remote portlets. Is this possible and if so, how is it achieved?
