| You can do several things.
First, branding is a result of theme modification. You should plan on copying the existing theme and make changes to that.
In addition you will probably want to brand the URL as well such that the portal context is something like /us/mycompany
Both topics are addressed in the Info Center.
In the case of themes you will be making changes to style sheets and JSPs. In the case of portal URLs you will be running wpsconfig tasks after making changes to the wpconfig.properties file.
IBM Authorized course WP710 describes the process of changing themes but you will need some guidance on the actual implementation. WP610 will provide help in this regard.
