| Hi everyone
I have a realm related question that might help me to approach the solution of one customer environment.
This one has Active Directory (Which is going to be the primary LDAP for authentication against the Portal) and Domino Applications.
This Domino server is on a different organization, and the users are not replicated. They also have an application in Domino which manages the access to different areas but with groups that are on the Domino and NOT in the AD.
So my question is, will the Realm support make possible to merge the two LDAPs into one Realm so I could have Active Directory integration and also be able to manage the access with the groups so I could still use the Application that they use to give acc
ess to their users? My biggest problem is that I donīt want to lose the ability to manage the access through the already build app.
I hope I was clear enough.
Any help will be really appreciated.
Thanks.

| I think that the Portal realms feature allows you to have a separate LDAP
directory per virtual portal as opposed to a mechanism to query multiple
directories for the same instance.
Does anybody else have a more definite answer? Have you checked the
InfoCenter?

| Hi
Thanks for your answer. My question was because I saw in a presentation that you could form a Realm with, for example, all the people from one LDAP + half organization of another LDAP, and that made me think that I could use both ldaps in one Portal.
Note: Although I donīt really need to merge half of the LDAP, I couldnīt even find how to do that.
During my last configuration I had to put the Realm of the LDAP was configuring so I believe that adding a new LDAP to that Realm would be the same. I just donīt know if that could help me accomplish what I want.
Thanks again. I am going to find that presentation I was talking about to see if there is more info.
