RAD 7 - problem connecting to remote server

| We just set up a remote Portal 6.0 server to test my applications. When I define the server in RAD 7 and try to publish a project to it, it keeps saying "Starting a Websphere 6.0 Server on a remote machine is not supported. The remote server must be sta
rted manually on the remote machine" The server is up and running, so I don't need to start the server. Is there some configuration setting that I am missing? Seems like I went through all of this before when we created another test server.
