Problems with displaying available standard portlets
|

| Hi,
I have a problem that looks quite trivial. I have assigned access right to a user of group to have displayed 2 portlets in a page I have created before with the role "user". The portlets are "calendar" and "organized favourites".
Unfortunately, after I load the page the portlet "organize favorites" is displayed as with an error message: "This portlet is unavailable." and the "calendar" portlet is shows this message: "An error occurred and the last action wasn't completed. Try the
action again. Description: An unexpected error has occurred. Please notify your system administrator."
Can someone explain me what may have happened and how to prevent this kind of errors? In enclosure the error detail view of the calendar portlet...
Thx

| 'Portlet Unavailable' type messages usually mean that some form of configuration is needed or the portlet isn't compatible with your target environment.
I'd check that that the portlet is JSR168 compliant firstly, and then check if there is any additional config needed when you install it (e.g. a license file or something equivalent).
