Problem when starting WAS service console on Websphere Portal

| Hi,
anyone can help me? I need to start the WAS console which, according to documentation should be available at this address: http://my_domain.com:9060/ibm/console . Unfortunately I was not able to connect to the service. The WAS is working correctly and has
already started. Can anyone confirm the correctness of the above mentioned URL to access the Console of WAS in Websphere Portal Express 6.0?

| Hi Giuseppe,
is port 9060 listening? What error(s) do you get? I'm not sure about WAS 6.0 but in older versions it was (by default) http://my.domain.com:9090/console .
You might want to check for that port as well.

| Try the following:
- start server1
- have a look for "WC_adminhost" in file
<WebSphere>profiles\wp_profile\config\cells\<cellname>\nodes\<nodename>/serverindex.xml
There you can find the port information for the admin console
- use hostname:port/ibm/console in the browser
