| Hi,
Has anybody been able to set a cookie in the portal themes ? What effect does the portlet spec. rule that forbids it have on this ?

| Hi Mohan,
The portal theme lives in a different WAR than your portlet. Whether the theme sets / retrieves a cookie is unrelated to the behavior of your portlet. The theme, and related skins, manage the presentation of your portlet as it appears on the "page" in con
junction with other portlets.
