How to manage portal pages programmatically in WebSphere Portal 6

Hello everybody.

I am looking for a way to manage the portal pages by programming.
Is there any API enabling to create/delete a page into the portal, to list all the pages under a root node, to deploy portlets on a specific page...

Does anybody have some experience on this?
