Imagine a portal that is packed with knowledge information. This information is put there by employees of the company. After a while an employee leaves the company and is removed from the company LDAP! His/her knowledge content is still there, but the acc
ount info isn't! This means that the user is no longer shown as the creator/editor of certain documents. In stead portal shows '???'.

How can this situation be prevented? Each user in the LDAP is costing a user license fee, so keeping all users in the LDAP for ever is not an option.

Has anyone tackled this problem?
(It is a Portal V6.0.1 and a Novell eDirectory LDAP).
