Hi all,

I am using RAD7 with WP6 installed on the local development machine.

I have made a new Portal Project as explained in the Auction Tutorial. It was interesting for me that, when I have tried to deployed the AuctionPortalEAR (Portal, not Portlet) actually a new "wps" project was created in my workspace and it was deployed in
stead of AuctionPortletEAR. I have test the deployment and everything works fine. Until there.
My only disappointment was, that my pages (from some other portlet projects) were not accessible anymore. Other portal pages, like "Welcome", have also disappeared from the portal.
I have decided to go back, and to remove the newly added project - "wps". As I have suspected the portal has crashed and I have not chance to log in it anymore.
After some restarts and some redeployments of the "wps" project the portal was up and running. But again with the limited pages.

My question is:

Is there a way to remove the Portal Project (AuctionProtalEAR) without damaging my portal?

Thanks in advance.

try uninstalling the auction project from the admin console.. before you do anything make sure you backup your cloudscape directory under portal installation directory.

...sorry ..I provided the wrong information previously... I'm not sure what the problem is ..but check in the admin console if aution ear application exists if yes remove the project (Add/Remove) .. and reinstall wps.ear which is located in installableApp
s under portal installation directory and see.. before check the size of the file wp.scheduler.ejb.jar (~100k) is the correct one... the one that comes with installableapps wps.ear file has a wrong version of wp.scheduler.ejb.jar file.. replace the old wp
.scheduler.ejb.jar file after you reinstall the wps.ear....
