Try putting the password in wpconfig.properties present in
<WP Install Directory>\PortalServer\config.
There are two fields for it -

# WasPassword: The password for WebSphere Application Server security authentication (LDAP and CUR)
WasPassword=

# PortalAdminPwd: The password for the WebSphere Portal Administrator
PortalAdminPwd=

and try starting the server from console.
