Author Security in Websphere: Possible to use LDAP and AS400?

I have a client for their websphere deployment, they want to use a combination of LDAP server and also some AS400 users. This is I guess a custom user registry? Does anyone know of some documentation or what steps I need to take to achieve this. How
difficult is this?

Hi,

I think you can use 2 LDAP servers with portal 6.0, but I don't think you can use LDAP and custom registry, or LDAP and DB together.

A solution - but I don't like it - is to configure your portal to authenticate from the LDAP, and add some custom code to authenticate the user from the custom registery if the authentication from LDAP has failed.

Appreciate if you found a better solution, or managed to configure the portal this way to share the experience with me.

Mahmoud
