Can not find user in the secondary address book in Portal 6.0.1

I have a Portal 6.0.1 configured with a primary Domino "LDAP" Directory. The primary Domino directory also has directory assistance to a second Domino directory. Users in second Domino directory can login to portal alright. But the people finder portlet c
annot find users in the second Domino directory.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong? i have also run the task - lcc-configure-dominodirectory.
