2007-07-27, 7:20 am

Hello
we have upgraded to RSA7.0.0.3 .We are using wps6
We have done the following settings in server perspective

a)Run server with resources on server

However whenever we are running jsf jsr168 portlets .....publishing is failing on server.

This problem is annoying.
Any help!!!!!!!

Mine doesn't work either. After a lot of wasted hours, I abandoned using the test server. I now use the full portal server and just do updates via that. It's not as fast as using the test environment USED to be, but at least I haven't tried to chuck my
laptop out of the window anytime in the last couple of weeks. Here are some suggestions that I tried before the abandonment. Maybe they'll work for you.

Set up the server to "Never publish automatically" and to "Minimize application files copied to the server". Then, restart the EAR instead of the server. It'll still say "republish," but the code usually gets picked up unless you're changing one of the
xml configuration files (including faces-config.xml)

Also, http://www-128.ibm.com/developerwor...dan/index.html.

Like I said, it doesn't work for me, but it's interesting that you're using faces, too. Maybe that's the actual issue - if you raise an APAR, let me know! Jaye

I had the same issue after I upgraded to 7.0.0.3. I rolled back to 7.0.0.2 and everything works again. Sounds like a .3 bug to me.

Someone will need to report it officially to Support for that to happen
(discussing about it here won't do it).
