| I have experienced the following problem, maybe some has made a similar experience:
When I stop the portal and I restart it via command startServer.sh WebSphere_Portal I am unable to connect to the portal. Everything seems to have started correctly (ps -ef gives me the processes are available and running both for application server and p
ortal). Still the I cannot connect via interent to my server.
Anyone can give some hints?

| Have you checked the SystemOut.logs, Sometimes even though you see the process if it has failed to start all the components then u can't access the portal.
