Author Hiding of page to Navigation tab

Hello All,

I have a page under the Home label that I would like to NOT show up in the tab navigation. The whole site is accessible to anonymous users. The page will still be accessible via url mapping.

I've managed to hide pages under the content root in the Launch menu as per "Marking pages as hidden under the content root" ( here http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoc...s/adxmlref.html ) but this does
not hide pages in the tabbed navigation.

Any ideas?

Hiding pages with the com.ibm.portal.Hidden page metadata attribute is
only provided out-of-the-box directly under content root. (ie. in the
Launch menu)

However, you can enable this technique to work in the horizontal
navigation if you want. You have to copy the code that hides the page
from mainMenu.jsp into topNav.jspf. Search for "com.ibm.portal.Hidden"
in mainMenu.jsp.
