Hi,
I do'nt know , if we can use 'Metric server' in conjunction with
dispatcher component (as we did witn ISS agent in Edge server v1), but
not with 'Site Selector' component.
If it is possible with Edge server v2, let me know how we can do that
(in Redbook sg246511 it's not clear for me, it speaks only about 'Metric
Server' with 'Site Selector')

Zoubir,

Metric Server can act as an ISS agent, such that it runs local scripts
and provides the values back to the manager. That manager can be
running in Site Selector or Network Dispatcher component -- ND takes the
metric server responses and uses them in the system column (just like it
did with ISS). I believe all you have to do is the 'ndkeys create', copy
the key over to the Metric Server machine, assign a script name to the
config (not sure where it is defined, server/cluster?), and then put the
script on the MS machine and start it up. The manager will then query
the MS machine for the script values.
