Running Dispatcher on Windows 2000 Server.

Just upgraded from Dispatcher 4(EdgeServer 2 bundle) to Dispatcher
4.0.3. Getting license expired message. I thought this was just a
fixpack!

call ndcontrol executor start
Active code page: 850
Loaded kernel successfully.

The upgrade procedure is actually an uninstall/install.

I remember the installer allows to install the license only (from the
original CD-ROM of installation, otherwise it's an evaluation version).
Never tried though. Otherwise, you need nd40Full.LIC or nodelock files (from
a backup for example, but you have backups, do you :-).

Copied D:\IBM\edge\ND\servers\conf\nd40Full.LIC from backup and
restarted Dispatcher service. License now valid.

Thanks for that. Excellent response.

Patrick.
