| I have installed Edge 5.1 on a Windows 2003 server and one thing that
either I did wrong, or that is wrong in the installer is that it does
not install any kind of Java version on the box when it does the Edge
install.
So in order to configure anything I have to install Java separately. I
tried getting the IBM version from developerworks but for a number of
reasons (mostly related to the bandwidth I have onsite) I could not get
it. It kept timing out, so I went to www.java.com and was able to
download the latest JRE.
But now I'm trying to configure the Edge server and I run 'dscontrol
executor start' (or any dscontrol command for that matter) and I get:
Error: Authorization failure for server 10.0.2.204.
I was able to run lbkeys create and it said 'Key files have been created
successfully'.
What am I missing? Is it just the fact that the latest sun JRE isn't
supported and I have to go with the IBM version or did I miss something
in my setup?
The documentation just says to make sure that the dsserver process is
running and to run dscontrol executor start.
Any help will be appreciated.
