There is no current active development going on, this is true.
There is a half-complete port of some more recent code, that is not in the
CVS tree. This is an upgrade to Mesa5. It does not add new hardware
support. If anyone is actually interested in writing CODE, I can get them
access to it.

For the record, it supports nvidia hardware of type
TNT -> GeForce2
