If you're looking for an alternative, the debbuggtk package has a
graphical tool for reporting bugs (as well as tools for tracking bugs).
It can generate emails and open them in the standard gnome email
program, but is extremely rough and unfinished. I hope to get it into a
working state someday, but it won't be for quite a while. My priorities
are first to the java-gnome project (which has a gnome 2.6 release that
should end many of the stability problems), then to improving bugwatcher
before working on the bugreporter tool. If anyone's interested in
helping please contact me.
