Then I am reopening it.

Clint, I've no idea what could be the reason of this crash.
Could you recompile t1lib and xpdf on your environment and check if xpdf still
crashes?

As I wrote in one email I cannot replicate it on i386. I have no access
to other architectures and I need a help with debugging this issue. So,
d-d@l.d.o is Cc-ed again. And again: could anyone on ultrasparc replicate
this[1] bug? What's about other architectures?
