a) No, the program is not a fork, is just a port to use GTK2 library
instead GTK1, please read [1].
b) Docs are just copied from SylpheedDoc [2] project, and are common
to all Sylpheed. These have been included in the tarballs by upstream
for users' convenience, not because they're particular of any of them.
In addition it happens I'm also part of upstream team on SylpheedDoc,
and I can tell you docs won't change in a near future, and if it
changes it will be included in sylpheed-doc as usually.
c) Knowing how a project is structured by talking and _hearing_
current maintainers is more appropriate than symlinks in this case.
Please remove this superfluous package and upload an new sylpheed-gtk2
recomending on sylpheed-doc, like all the other sylpheed related
packages. The dummy package solution is a very poor one, I do not see
any advantage for the users on inventing new -doc packages, and also
increasing the packages list size ridiculously[3], moreover when the
doc package already exists.
