I just had the case that freeswan would not work anymore. A disabled a
tunnel some time ago, build a new kernel later and wanted to enable it
last week. It is a roadwarrior setup, where on the server side pluto
just segfaults when an ipsec connection is tried to be established. I
used freeswan-modules-source_2.04-7. 2.04-9 was not buildable. The
discussion about openswan come just in time. I tried openswan an it
worked out of the box. So I will try to replace freeswan with all of my
tunnels (~10) in the next time.

Thanks
Christoph
