hi,

anybody has news from mips buildd hawking? it has been hanging for some
days on glibc and i suspect something is waiting for human intervention.

same seems to apply to resume, which is hung on atari-fdisk. other
builders insted look crunching packages nicely.

please somebody do something

cheers

This might be old news, but hawking does appear to be chugging along
doing something. It appears that r5k is doing it's thing too. I'm
guessing 'somebody' did 'something'.

then i'm not understanding why [0] continues to list glibc and boost at
the top but none of them actually is built. or somebody (is you?) did
something that is still not visible from buildd.debian.org?

thanks

I really couldn't tell you what the story is there. It might be because
currently ftp is busted going from my network. I'm hoping to fix
that later today though (need to go back through and remove some of the
POM patches I applied which I think broke it...).

The build failed, and the state remains at Building until someone
examines the build log and sets the state to Failed. See the log at
http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?...file=log&as=raw

ah! i was not aware of this manual passage, it makes a lot more sense
than the busted ftp thesis of Stephen ) thank Daniel

if it can be of help, that build failed because of a broken symlink in
g++-3.3 1:3.3.4-4 (bug #260514) which has been fixed in -5.

now if some kind soul could set the boost state back to Failed and let
it have another chance of being built...

cheers

http://www.buildd.net/index-mips.html

shows hawking as waiting for setup. You can change this via the
[buildd admin login] link in the top corner on buildd.net.

It would be nice if you could add a

system("wget -q -O /dev/null \"http://www.buildd.net/cgi/status.phtml?name=$BUILDD_NET_USER&p=$BUILDD_NET_PASS&building=$PACKAGE\"");

to the buildd binary for the buildd (which $.... replaced by the real
values). I think a more exact patch was send on the m68k buildd list a
while back if you can't fiddle this in.

See http://buildd.net/
specifically http://people.debian.org/~wouter/wanna-build-states
or the graphical chart.

Needs to be set back to "needs-build", fyi.
