gcc-3.4 is in testing and new enough.

$ LANG=C dpkg -l libgcc1
ii libgcc1 3.4.1-4sarge1 GCC support library
$ cat /var/lib/dpkg/info/libgcc1.shlibs
libgcc_s 1 libgcc1 (>= 1:3.4.1-3)
$ dchroot -c sid 'dpkg -l libgcc1'
ii libgcc1 3.4.1-5 GCC support library
$ dchroot -c sid cat /var/lib/dpkg/info/libgcc1.shlibs
(sid) cat /var/lib/dpkg/info/libgcc1.shlibs
libgcc_s 1 libgcc1 (>= 1:3.4.1-3)
