| Hi,
For two days now, I hardly can reach alioth because of network
problems:

Can Debian do anything with this? Anyone has this problem as well?

Yes, the same here from my home network. All work fine at work instead.
I suspect some oddities in routing.

Which network problems? This traceroute looks pretty regular.

I mean step 19, 20 and 22: packets are lost (well, no big deal), and it
happens too often. Around ~20% I can not get a simple web page from
alioth, because timeouts.

haydn is somewhere inside HP's corporate network, I believe. HP
probably uses RFC 1918 address space for transfer networks, that's why
you won't see ICMP TTL Exceeded messages from those routers, and
traceroute output is based on them. Or they filter ICMP directly (but
I hope they don't do *that*).

If there are networking problems, it's likely that they are unrelated.
