Perhaps anybody is interested in my new-yet-another-debian-mirroring-tool.=
=20
But this one aims to fill all the functionality holes that the other=20
debian-mirroring tools had in the past.

I'm polishing it for the stable release, give it a try and send me some=20
coments!

As a long standing debmirror user and with the knowledge that there is a
debpartial-mirror project which is very actively developed I just wonder
if people have to much spare time to invent one wheel after an other.

BTW, you might think about the triangular wheel because it bumbles one times
less than a square wheel per turn. ;-)

Just a thought which is completely unrelated to the particular projects
which I do not know ...

Kind regards

Andreas.

PS: To really awake interest you should list the constraints of the existing
projects and name the problems you solved ...

I highly doubt that parallel mirroring is needed (and as I mirror
operator I doubt it's a good thing).

Hello Pedro,

I'm the upstram of debpartial-mirror and I'm working in the next
version of it. This was write using python.

I saw you webpage aout debian-multimirror and this looks really good
and I think we can improve both tools. If you want to try
debpartial-mirror, you can get it using apt-get and the next version
is available on alioth.

Next version will have a lot of interesting features. One of more
interesting is the possibility to merge mirrors. Take a look ;-)
