Hello,
I'm part of a team that is seeking to build a desktop oriented distro to
support and showcase L10N efforts in the Indic languages, based on
Componentized Linux. We think it is probably better if we setup a system
based on Debian buildd, to receive source packages from uploaders, and
then building the Debian package automatically.

However I couldn't find any documentation on how to setup buildds. Can
anyone please provide pointers

Thank you

Aba's url is a very good pointer. Read it carefully.

There is also

http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.o.../sourcerer.conf
http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.o...ourcerer-chroot

that I use to setup buildd chroots for amd64.

As for the actual buildd and wanna-build try:

# for sbuild, buildd, etc...
deb http://db.debian.org/ debian-admin/
#deb-src http://db.debian.org/ debian-admin/

Thanks to all who've written in. Am going through the details.

Will have to present a proposal to the university officials to let me
have a couple of permanent IP addresses to set up the buildd.

Thanks

The only thing you need is a mail account. Running a buildd with a
dynamic IP or behind NAT is no problem.
