Author How to simulate apt pinning for times when sarge is stable

Hi,

in my test chroots, I routinely pin down testing and unstable to -10,
so that packages from these distributions are only installed when
_explicitly_ requested.

This, of course clashes with sarge tests since sarge is still testing,
and no stable.

Unfortunately, the Release files don't contain a release codename, and
thus pinning on release codename is not possible.

May I ask for the reason? And if there is none like "we never did it
this way", who do I bug to include the release codename in the Release
file for future Debian versions?

Greetings
Marc
