Description : ICQ Transport for Jabber, implemented with Python and Twisted

PyICQt is an implementation of Jabber ICQ transport.
..
Current features include:
- ability to message users on ICQ, and receive messages,
- ability to see others online, and others to see you,
- ability to request a VCard of an ICQ user,
- notifications when typing starts on either end.
..
Homepage is at http://pyicq-t.blathersource.org/.
..
Recommended python-nevow package is needed for internal web interface.

Current package is available from
http://zigzag.lvk.cs.msu.su/~nikita/pyicq-t/

Althouth package requires some more work (such as addition of a debconf
script), it is already useful. It allows to set up an ICQ transport for
jabber server (other than jabberd1) without manual compilation of
anything. Maybe somebody will sponsor the upload?
