Otavio, you seem to have been his sponsor, do you have any news from
him in the last 6 months (or since January, 1st 2005, for that
matter)? Anybody else?

I didn't have any news from him.

co-maintainer for a while.

Already did, and finally decided to request removal as we are pulling
out a reverse dependency of it anyway. http://bugs.debian.org/350630
The remaining question is the equivs package, which is NMU-maintained
these days. I suppose that the qa group should take it after a week or
two?

If you think it should be orphaned / hijacked, I'm willing to adopt it.
I use it.

Yes, it should be hijacked. Take it. Or wait a week or two for someone
to come up with news of Fabio if you want.
