Hello,

We are using CS2002StarterSite as the foundation of our web application.
Now we are planning to integrate it with Content Management Server (CMS). I
understand that the Content Connector works only with MSIB. We do need the
Content connector to integrate CMS to our project, right? Can you please
give me any ideas, suggestions, as how to go about this?

Thanks!

If you want CMS Integration, you'd be better off working with MSIB 2.5.
My understanding is that CMS is not essential which is one of the reasons
the Starter Site was built (since most of the people had trouble delinking
CMS from MSIB 2.5 )))

I understand what your saying but unfortunately, I just finished the project
using the Starter Site and now am being informed that we are using CMS and
integrate with it.. Is there any other way?? I think it is a bit too lat
e
to use MSIB..Please advise as this is the first time I'm involved in a
project like this.

Thank you so much.

I think Microsoft has recommended not to deploy MSIB 2.5 & Started site on
the same machine because of some issues with the content connector. What you
can do is look at the MSIB code and incorporate it into your starter site
based site code.
