on a windows 2003 standard server w/ the fpse 2002 installed and operating i
n
a domain, how are the author permissions set for web designers to allow them
to modify the sites via frontpage ? i noticed that after installing the fps
e
2002 from iis6 for each site on the machine several 'OWS' groups are created
and visable in the file permissions for each site/folder. but when i tried
to add domain users to those OWS admin groups they were still unable to
modify the sites. are the permissions set at the file level by adding anothe
r
domain global or local group ? or are the permissions applied in the fpse
2002/sharepoint config screens - and if so, where ? do the web developers
have to be added to the local machine or can their domain accounts be used t
o
add their permissions ? tia for any help on this one ...
