I just wanted to report, that xpdf 3.00 has been released...

On my RH9 installation I compiled the package with

./configure --enable-a4-paper  --enable-opi  --enable-wordlist
--with-freetype2-library=/usr/lib --with-freetype2-includes=/usr/include/fre
etype2/

nice -19 make
su
make install

which installs some binaries in /usr/local

It works very fine for me !!
